A Message from the Editor-in-Chief

The whole universe is taken by a revolution of technology. All around the world, smart phones, laptops, tablets, and other similar devices are transforming our traditional lifestyle. The human activity is being transformed in such a way that these activities are  playing an integral part in national and global development.  The key stack holders in the field of science and technology are focusing on surveillance systems, financial networks,  intelligent transportation and health monitoring among other emerging fields.

LGURJCSIT  is dedicated to the dissemination of high quality research papers on cutting edge technologies in Computer Science and Information Technology. This will help us in meeting the challenges of the 21^st century. The journal publishes contributions that take a multidisciplinary / convergent approach because many real-world problems are complex in nature and cover multiple domains.

In addition, our main focus will continue to be to publish the highest quality research in domains like Machine Learning (ML), blockchain, Cyber Security, Internet of Things (IoT) and Big Data,  Deep learning,  Image Processing and Computer Vision , Cloud Computing and Natural Language Processing (NLP).

Our vision is that LGURJCSIT must become premier international journal in  research in the above mentioned domains. In addition to being an authoritative vehicle for the dissemination of scientific advances, LGURJCSIT should also serve a leadership role in shaping the direction of Computer Science and Information Technology.

The Assistant Editors and I have made an explicit commitment to fulfill our vision and that we will not be satisfied with anything less. Peer review is the actual pillar of a journal’s success and it depends on the quality and inspiration of its reviewers. Thus, we have selected our Editorial Board carefully on the basis of their scientific professional soundness, rational integrity and commitment to the journal.

We hope LGURJCSIT  will become the primary platform for researchers to share their findings and discuss all aspects of emerging technologies  in the development of future innovations that will benefit  international community. We are now welcoming submissions for future issues of the journal.

Editor-in-Chief Biography

Dr. Muhammad Asif received the M.S. degree in computer engineering from the Center for Advanced Studies in Engineering (CASE), Islamabad, Pakistan, in 2008, and the Ph.D. degree in computer engineering from the Capital University of Science and Technology (CUST), Pakistan, in 2016. He is currently an Associate Professor and Dean faculty of computer sciences at Lahore Garrison University, Lahore, Pakistan. He has authored or coauthored many scientific papers in conferences and journals of international repute. His research interests include digital image processing, video processing, computer vision, machine learning, network security, parallel processing, and embedded systems with particular attention to security surveillance systems.
